How to Import Instagram Reels into ReelRecall
Instagram Collections are helpful, but you cannot search inside them. Importing Reels into ReelRecall makes every saved video searchable.
Method 1: Paste a Reel link
- Copy the Reel URL from Instagram
- Paste it into your ReelRecall dashboard
- Submit the import
Method 2: Use the Instagram share menu
- Tap Share on the Reel
- Select ReelRecall (or copy the link and paste it)
- Confirm the import
Method 3: Batch import from a list
- Gather multiple Reel URLs
- Use the bulk import flow to submit them together
After import
- AI transcription for full text search
- Auto-generated tags and summaries
- Collections for recipes, workouts, and inspiration
Common issues
- Private or deleted Reels cannot be imported
- If a link fails, re-copy it from the share menu
- Large batches may queue before processing
